Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, kicked off a six month long initiative with Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity called Building On! The program engages corporate sponsors and employee groups in building Habitat homes across the region. Foundation Chairman Joe Stacy, VP and Managing Broker Michael Mazzei, and VP and General Manager David Bracy laid the foundation down in Chicago, Lake County, and DuPage County respectively. On Friday, June 26th, KoenigRubloff managers, agents and team members continued the efforts in the same regions trimming, painting and landscaping. Offices and agents will continue to build until November, when the families of the homes will receive the keys to their homes! The Libertyville team hosted a PADS dinner in Grayslake last night. PADS, or “Providing Advocacy, Dignity, and Shelter”, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the homeless find short and long term housing and resources. Agents Ellen O’Toole and Millie Kepler organized the evening, which included 15 agents and staff cooking dinner for about 40 participants. We are proud to have so many of our offices and agents recognized in Chicago Agent Magazine’s 2014 Top 20 list. Congratulations to Lake Forest for being #1 in Lake Country and to Libertyville for a great showing as well. Hinsdale & Glen Ellyn made the list for top offices in DuPage County, with Pattie Murray being among DuPage’s top agents. Congrats also goes out to Lincoln Park |Clybourn, Mag Mile, Gold Coast and Lincoln Park | Clark for making the top Chicagoland office list. Kudos to Jeff Lowe and Mario Greco, on being the top two agents, and to Sophia Klopas and Jennifer Mills Klatt on their Top 20 performance. The magazine also denotes Highest Closings in the various regions, with Jeff Lowe and Jill Okun making a great showing. Well done! We are so thrilled!
For more than 20 years, the agents and staff of our Libertyville office have collected donations and prepared complete Thanksgiving meals for less-fortunate Lake County families who might not otherwise have had a special meal on this day of thanks. This year, the Libertyville office met at Mariano’s in Vernon Hills and prepared 100 meals for Townships to distribute! The boxed meals included traditional Thanksgiving fixings such as a turkey, green beans, potatoes, yams, rolls, cranberries, stuffing and pumpkin pie. Last year, the Libertyville office provided 120 full Thanksgiving dinners for Lake County families. With the generous support of KoenigRubloff agents and the community, the office hopes to significantly increase the number of dinners and make this a Thanksgiving worth remembering. On Tuesday, November 25, 2014 between 10:00 am – 11:30 am, the Libertyville Office will gather again at Sunset Foods, 1451 Peterson Road in Libertyville, to assemble the meals that will be delivered to families in need. It was a beautiful weekend for Libertyville Days 2014! The annual event took place June 12 – 15, and included a parade featuring our very own KoenigRubloff Libertyville team (as well as a special appearance by Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz)!
