We’ve reached the half-way point of KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation’s Week of Kindness and enthusiasm is reaching new heights as offices are finally getting to attend the events they’ve planned and anticipated for months. In the last few days, our Gold Coast and Mag Mile offices have baked cookies at Ronald McDonald House in Chicago, the Lake Forest office volunteered at Bernie’s Book Bank, the Deerfield office helped stock the Deerfield Township Food Pantry, and the Wheaton office grilled out at the Ronald McDonald House in Winfield! Our Glenview team made 25 plush blankets for critically ill children for the Linus Project and has started their food drive for the Northfield Food Pantry. Schaumburg and Park Ridge planted flowers and landscaped at two Little City Foundation homes. Our Evanston office volunteered at the Child Care Center of Evanston and is conducting a food drive at the office all week. We love how our agents and staff are embracing #WeekofKindness! You’re incredible! Stay tuned for a final Week of Kindness update on Monday. Meantime, check out all the great photos on our Facebook gallery!

We are inviting everyone to join our Lincoln Park | Clybourn office, which, in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, will be holding a cat adoption and donations event this Saturday, June 13th from 12-3 pm at Petco located on 3118 N. Ashland Ave. The event, which is a part of our annual #WeekofKindness, benefits Tree House Cats, a Humane Society organization which strives to educate the public about proper and responsible animal care, with a focus on the care and placement of stray cats with special physical and emotional needs. Please consider supporting the non-profit organization by donating money to help build the new facility that Tree House Cats is starting this June. You can also support the effort by bringing in or purchasing physical items that Tree House can use for kittens, such as litter boxes, scales, food, toys, etc. Please consider helping a cat or kitten in need!
This is a very special week for KoenigRubloff. More than 500 agents and employees will dedicate their time to community organizations at more than 20 events, as part of this company-wide giving back effort. The Schaumburg Office got an early start, raising $5k at a bowling fundraiser for their adopted Little City home fix-up projects. The Marketing team helped rescue food for the Greater Chicago Food Depository at the National Restaurant Show. Our Hinsdale Office braved rain and wind to host a household item drive, partnering with HSC Family Services, Community Nurse Health Center, Sharing Connections, PADS, and Assistance League of Chicagoland.
Throughout this week, our Mag Mile and Gold Coast agents will spend time at the Ronald McDonald House baking Cookies from the Heart and hosting a birthday party with the HomeServices Lending team. The Wheaton Office will host a cookout at the Winfield Ronald McDonald House. Our Lincoln Park Clybourn office will help our feline neighbors find homes with a Tree House Cat adoption event at Petco, and the Webster Street crew spend another great day with the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Lake Forest is leading a children book collection effort for Bernies Book Bank, and will spend time sorting and packing donated books at their warehouse. Libertyville, Naperville, Glen Ellyn, Elmhurst and our Home Office will be packing nutritious meals with Feed My Starving Children in Aurora and Libertyville. Helping to address hunger locally, several offices are holding drives for the Northfield Food Pantry, and the Deerfield Office will deliver donated items and spending time helping stock the Deerfield Township Food Pantry.
