Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group released results of its first quarterly Homeowner Sentiment Survey showing that people’s perception of home value runs much deeper than standard measures of price and location. Nearly one-third of homeowners responded that they have considered selling their home in the near future to find a better fit for their changing lifestyles. Other findings included 88% of respondents place high value on updating and renovating a home over time and 94% of respondents saying that homeownership is important to their long-term financial planning.
