This past Friday our Park Ridge office sponsored a special concert in Hodges Park honoring World War II veterans, commemorating the 70th anniversary of V-J Day. Bill O’Connell’s Chicago Skyliners Big Band provided live music and Managing Broker Justin Greenberg was on hand to introduce the performers. The concert rounded off a series of three events put on in conjunction with the Park Ridge Park District. Photo highlights of last Friday’s event can be seen here.
Our Libertyville office held a document shredding and recycling event at their office on Saturday, May 9th. To reduce the risk of identity theft and fraud, members of the community brought their junk mail, cancelled checks, utility bills, credit cards, credit card statements and other materials to destroy on-site for recycling. The event was a free service to the community and guests also had the option to purchase a lovely spring bouquet at the event. Over 17 bins of documents were shredded and recycled! The agents in our Deerfield office hosted their annual Community Shredding and Recycling Day on Saturday, May 3. A tradition started in 2007, agents invited clients, friends and neighbors to safely and securely destroy personal documents in an environmentally responsible way. Onsite shredding of paper such as tax documents and bank statements, junk mail and old credit cards, makes this a very popular client appreciation event.
