Janet Owen of the Michigan Avenue office sold her Lincoln Park listing at 1837 N. Orchard Street last Friday for $8.65 million before even going into the MLS. The home is the highest priced detached single family home sold in the city of Chicago and state of Illinois in 2022. The 8,000-square-foot single family residence is situated on an oversize 65’ wide lot with beautiful formal and informal side gardens, an Outdoor Living Room with fireplace and sports court area plus two additional Terraces. By making changes to the Scavenger Sales process, the Cook County Assessor’s office has made it easier for people to participate and have an opportunity to ultimately improve communities and build generational wealth. Rich Aronson, Team Leader of The AVE Group in the Michigan Avenue office, is participating in the construction and sale of a three-flat at 333 W. Garfield Boulevard that is expected to begin this spring and he’s hoping the buyer will live in the building.
