With more than 10,000-square-feet spanning four floors and 35 rooms, the residence was built in 1911 for John L. Shortall. The property has served as the residence for the previous Metropolitan of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago and the administrative offices for the Metropolis’ six-state diocese.
