Our Northbrook branch held a clothing exchange at their office to benefit the WINGS Program! Agents and guests were able to bring clothes and accessories for a clothing exchange. At the end of the evening, all remaining items were donated to WINGS. WINGS is an organization that provides single women and women with children temporary safe shelter through WINGS housing, and helps them to achieve independence and find permanent housing with compassion and support. Our Deerfield team held a shredding and recycling event at their office this past weekend! The agents also collected non-perishable food items to help stock the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry. The event was free to the community. A steady stream of cars visited throughout the morning event, with some guests returning twice with additional documents to shred!
Our Schaumburg office held their second annual “Bowling for Charity” event on April 18th at Level 257 Bowling in the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. More than 110 people attended the event that, through the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, raised $5,000 for the Little City Foundation, an organization that provides integrated living arrangement homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our Libertyville office held a document shredding and recycling event at their office on Saturday, May 9th. To reduce the risk of identity theft and fraud, members of the community brought their junk mail, cancelled checks, utility bills, credit cards, credit card statements and other materials to destroy on-site for recycling. The event was a free service to the community and guests also had the option to purchase a lovely spring bouquet at the event. Over 17 bins of documents were shredded and recycled!
